Planners are a wonderful tool to keep us focused. They help keep us in line with our goals and remind us of our appointments and other important engagements. But if you’ve ever priced planners before you will know they can carry a hefty price tag.

Take the Erin Condren planners for example. Although a beautiful planner, its price tag is too much for my budget. Of course, if the price doesn’t concern you, feel free to check it out. I’ve never used one of their planners before but they look both functional and amazing.

For those of us who are more budget conscious, there are a few different options for planners that don’t break the bank.

Here are the recommendations I have found for economically priced planners:

Printables

Printables are a great idea if you like putting a planner together on your own. Pinterest is a great resource for inspiration on printables. Pinterest has hundreds of printable options (for free and paid). Here are some of my favorites.

  1. Get Organized HQ offers a membership club (for a cost) that offers lots of printables to suit all the different parts of your life. She also offers different printables free on her site.
    .
  2. I Heart Organizing has an Etsy shop where she sells her printables and you can also find some free printables on her site. I love her style and she really knows how to make some cute printables.
    .

Store Bought Planners

Buying a planner that is affordable is another option. In the past, I’ve found planners at Target. They have many planner options to meet anyone’s pricing needs. I’ve seen them as low as $5.00 and higher. Check them out if buying a planner suits your needs.

I’ve also been very satisfied with this planner on Amazon. I used it last year and plan to buy it again this year.

Bullet Journaling

If you enjoy being creative or just like creating your own thing, bullet journaling may be what you are looking for. Bullet journaling is essentially a planner that you create yourself. All you need is a notebook (or a journal) and a pen to start.

The nice thing about bullet journaling is that you make it your own. You create the calendars, the to-do lists, and anything else you want in your planner. There aren’t pages like a traditional planner that limit what you can add. Every page ahead of the last is blank for you to customize how you wish.

If bullet journaling interests you and you would like to learn more, this site gives you the foundation to get started.

If ones of these ideas inspire you to get a planner, I encourage you to do so. I know how much planners have helped organize my home and life. Choose one that doesn’t break the bank and add some organization to your life.

Do you have a planner that you love? I would love for you to share it in the comments.
